Given the COVID-19 Pandemic, 54 million students across the U.S. were home from school. To help with this, we offer completely free, online class in numerous different subjects.
Now that students are back in school, HELM is continuing to provide free classes to anyone who needs it
Classes are free and open to anyone of all ages, interests and experience levels. All that is needed is a computer and access to the internet
It has been proven that peer-to-peer learning is effective at teaching content to students. Given this, HELM provides free classes taught by primarily middle-to-high school students from around the world.
Our peer-to-peer learning platform gives student-teachers an opportunity to teach any subject they are interested for community service hours, as well as providing students an opportunity to learn any subject they want for free.
HELM was started by two brothers, Sidharth and Vikram Anantha, to help students get an education despite schools being closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic
HELM officially started teaching classes on April 6th, 2020. We first started teaching classes in Python, and on April 13th, 2020, we added classes in Arduino. Now, we are expanding to teach classes in numerous subjects, across multiple fields
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, 54 million students across the U.S. are out of school, and many are without online learning. Being students ourselves, we want to give students an education in topics that we are passionate about, so that children across America can learn during and after the pandemic
